In this view, you can appreciate the level of detail obtained in the reproduction of this artwork. This standard was a crucial goal for the commercial use of the picture.
Reprophotography
Folder
I used the specific skill of reprophotography to reproduce artworks of many various artists exposed in Berlin, Germany. This technique consists of creating a digital twin of the physical artwork, achieving a certain degree of fidelity. It was crucial to understand the difference between real-life visualization and digital capturing, and merging them together by controlling the light situation and handling the files carefully in post-production.
Comparison between the “behind the scenes” with the photography set up vs the resulting file of that shooting.
Travel Photography
Folder
In this “work study” that I carried on for 3 years, I took pictures of Erasmus travelers across all of Spain. I put into practice almost every knowledge on photography that I have, but especially about the importance of the elements in the frame. As well as the meaning in the photography, thus they are meant to tell stories of the travelers and the places, interacting with each other.

Studio Photography
Folder
In this part, I exhibit different types of studio photography that I have done in my whole expertise. This is one of the most varied fields of photography because, depending on the topic: the aim, the technical part, and the skillset needed can vary from slightly to completely. It is different from photography in another environment because here you need to control an increased number of variables.
Product photography for a beer brand.
Food photography for a sushi restaurant.
3D Tour
Folder
One of the most specific applications of photography I've experienced so far. It consists of the creation of virtual spaces based on physical places that already exist. This is achieved by using a special camera with photographic and proximity sensors to understand the space. There are crucial points to be understood during the taking and post-processing, because the AI that automates the main process requires guidance to understand a room.
This is an example of the taking of a 3D scan of an exhibition room, and the final result, a showcase, embedded on a website, ready to explore from any device.
YouTube Expertise
Folder
Working with moving images is a next level in terms of complexity, but what I have developed the most with this job is my ability to understand what the human eye is most interested in when visualizing content, and how to manage the attention of the viewer to deliver the content that keeps him entertained and satisfied. In addition, I understood the psychology behind the thumbnails and what connects with the critical eye of the viewer before clicking into a video.
Here we can see the comparison between the uploaded video and the project in Adobe Premiere Pro. This is part of my work as a freelancer for a Spanish influencer.
This other video is focused on documenting a gallery exhibition in Berlin. In this case, it was also recorded by me with a stabilizer.
Corporate Identity
Folder
In the graphic design department, I also count on a few jobs realized. Although I have a smaller background in this topic, I count on my studies in graphic design and quite experience in corporate identity and book editions.
Mock-ups of different graphic design products.
AI-generated design visual research.
Logos
Folder
In this part I exhibit a small compilation of different logos that I have designed in isolated occasions: for real projects, samples, or just for the exercise to create.
Editorial Design
Folder
This is a project related to the reprophotography experience. It consists of the development of an artist’s editions book. In the first edition, I included around 500 paintings, most of them photographed by me, others rescued from an old archive. And I reunited and organized every information about them such as: name, year, technique, description... This is one of the most extensive isolated projects I’ve worked on, and the biggest difficulty was to work with so much data, but it was carried successfully.

About
This website has been entirely designed and developed by me, Alejandro Álvarez Martín, as both a personal portfolio and an interface design project.
It was built using Astro.js, with support from Claude as a development tool throughout the process. The project serves not only as a showcase of my work, but also as a demonstration of my approach to design, attention to detail, and ability to translate ideas into functional digital experiences.
From concept to execution, the structure, visual design, and implementation have been carried out primarily by me, with additional support and collaboration from Carlos Álvarez.
This project reflects my interest in creating clean, thoughtful, and user-focused interfaces, as well as my commitment to continuously improving my technical and creative skills.
